About Sophie

Mother of 2 boys whom I taught French to, as they have always lived abroad and never attended a French school. My eldest took their French GCSE in year 9 and achieved a Grade 9. Having learnt several languages myself using various methods, I deeply understand the challenges of language acquisition and know how to adapt to each student.

About the lesson

As a native speaker, my goal is to make you feel confident and comfortable speaking French from day one. I believe language learning should be natural, engaging, and directly applicable to real life.
Every student is unique, so my lessons are always tailored to your specific goals, level and learning style.
Here is how I structure the classes:
- Personalised evaluation,
- Immersion, active speaking
- Contextual grammar and vocabulary
- Feedback and support
