About Marine

My name is Marine. I’m a 21-year-old native French speaker currently studying at the University of London. I teach French to people of all ages, from young children to adults. Before moving to London, I worked as an au pair in the United States, where I cared for four autistic children. This experience taught me patience and the importance of adapting to each learner’s individual needs. My current students range from 4 years old to adults. For younger children, lessons are interactive and visual, using games and activities to make learning engaging. For older students, I focus on conversation, grammar and vocabulary that are useful in everyday life. I regularly check each student’s progress to make sure every lesson matches their goals. I find it most rewarding to help students build confidence and make steady progress. Feel free to contact me about your goals, and I will design a program tailored to you.

About the lesson

I have solid experience supporting children with their homework and enjoy designing programmes tailored specifically to their needs, helping them progress confidently in French. For younger learners, I focus on engaging and clear explanations to keep their interest. For adult students, I adopt more structured and practical teaching methods, including the preparation of exercises and detailed corrections in advance. I carefully adapt all lessons to the individual’s goals and level, ensuring a personalised learning experience. Whether online or in person, I am committed to making French learning both effective and enjoyable for all ages and backgrounds.

Marine is capable, kind, and has an uncommon ability to connect with children. She has made a huge difference in my son’s studies and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
