About Meena
I am originally from Paris, but have been living in London for more than a decade now.
I have a Master of Sciences but decided to redirect my career towards the arts.
However I have always had a passion for languages, and for teaching too, so I followed a French as a second language teacher training!
I started teaching during my university years and have gone on in parallel with my acting career, teaching dozens of satisfied students!
I have taught myself English from a very young age and decided to apply the same principles in my own teaching practice: always making sure it's fun, incremental and relatable!

Lessons come in two forms:
Formal (all levels, A1 to C2):
- Grammar
- Conjugation
- Text Analysis
- Pronunciation
- Vocabulary and spelling
The lessons are usually supported by either text, audio or video, specific to the subject, which help to untangle the topic at hand.
We then practice through exercises and conversation. If you're so inclined, I can also give homework which we will go through together in the next lesson.
I always make sure we have fun!
Informal (levels B1 to C2):
Once again I usually use either a text, a video or audio support to introduce a topic which we then discuss. I prepare questions about the support but we can then digress and have fun while learning!
I make sure to write down any new vocabulary and correct grammar or conjugation points if needed.
However in this format, we do not train through exercises, but conversation practice only.
