About Folke
I am a native German speaker who studies music in Edinburgh. I am experienced in teaching persons of all ages.
Are you interested in learning German? Are you tired of the typical language course script and Duolingo doesn't get you anywhere? You're at the right address with me! I'm happy to teach German at all levels and customised to your wishes and needs - no matter if it's for school, travel, personal communications or just a cultural interest. We will get work together to find an approach that works for you, by incorporating both the grammar and technicalities you need to learn in a fun way of learning - fitted to your interests.
I am also an experienced singer and guitar player and am very experienced at community music - I am happy to help you with your musical journey. I have an honours degree in musicology and am therefore also knowledged in music theory. I know that the theory can be a bit dry sometimes but we can find an approach that suits you and your learning style - which can include a lot of practical musicality as well!
