About Arne
I grew up in Germany and lived there most of my life. Before working as a Youth Pastor, I studied Theology with a focus on rhetoric and public speaking. I'm fluent in English and German and learnt Latin, Koine Greek and ancient Hebrew -- I know how hard it can be to learn a new language! In 2019, I moved to the UK to study (again). I've been tutoring students from all walks of life with varying degrees of German knowledge. Whether a complete beginner or almost fluent, I love seeing people progress and unfold their full potential.

Perfect! Arne is a fantastic, approachable teacher. From the beginning, he put a lot of attention into how to tailor a lesson to make it enjoyable for me. Despite starting from a relatively low level of German, he's been very patient and made an effort to understand my messy sentences. His great asset is that except being a native German speaker, he's learnt Latin and Koine Greek what definitely gave him a deep understanding of how learning languages work and allows him to add fascinating side notes during our lessons. Moreover, he also knows a lot about different German dialects and cultures of different regions. Highly recommended!
