About Simon
Guten Tag!
My name is Simon and I have moved to Edinburgh to study theology. Through my studies I have learned Greek, Hebrew, and have added on to my existing Latin and English skills. With the understanding of grammar that I have acquired, I feel confident and excited to show others how beautiful German can be. I have experience teaching children and young adults in a church context as well as groups of all ages in Outdoor surroundings. In addition to that, I have developed very good communication skills, patience, and understanding for teaching and learning in my recent years of being a student.

Generally, the lessons will consist of learning words and phrases through fun ways like quizes or games, and then applying them in practice conversations. In this way the student will expand their vocabulary, listen to German, and more importantly speak German themselves. However, the lessons will be customised according to the individual student.
While I am a German native speaker, I have not yet had many opportunities for teaching German, which offers me a great challenge to try and inspire new students.
Students of any age and level are welcome!
Lessons will be between 45 mins and 1 1/2h.
