About Matias
I am an 18 year-old native German speaker who has grown up as well as studied both GCSE German and A Level German in the UK.
Since then along with A Level German I have also studied Psychology and Economics with the plan of pursuing a Psychology degree at university.
While I am a native speaker, I also look to improve aspects of my German mainly in written areas and more complex grammatical structures. This means that through helping others I also look to improve myself as well.
This enables me to provide students with techniques that I have used myself to overcome challenges with learning which are transferable not only to German specifically but also to other subjects and tasks.

Having studied German at GCSE level myself, I understand how the system works and what is needed in order to achieve higher grades. I myself have also faced struggles in certain areas of the subject whether that be grammar or essay writing so I know how to tackle difficulties.
I offer personalised 60 minute online lessons for anyone studying GCSE German across all ability levels, with the aim of identifying and addressing personal weaknesses in order to achieve a desired target, whether that be a certain grade or even an advantage in lessons at school.
My goal is not only to help you achieve objective targets but also to help you gain more confidence in German without the fear of making mistakes or being judged.
From my own experience I believe students learn best when they are involved and can focus on the aspects that they have the most difficulties with.
