About Silke
My name is Silke and i live in the UK since 1992. I grew up and was educated in Stuttgart in the southwest of Germany. I have tutored privately over the last few years and helped to prepare students mainly for german GCSEs.
My Daughter achieved an A* in her GCSEs at LEH school and an A in her german A level this year ! She benefitted greatly from my support.
My Son studies German at Nottingham University and as part of his course this year in Göttingen university in Germany .
My teaching leans on the students school work and i support them in every area they need help with.
This includes practising conversation,writing and reading/comprehension.
I believe in encouraging and praising students as they work and progress .I am passionate about languages as they are the key for all our communication and finding our way through life.
Moreover,I taught adults at Ealing College for modern foreign languages last year and continue to teach adults privately since.
Other Qualifications :
first class honours in fashion design and pattern cutting in 1992
