About Alexander
I’m a friendly and approachable sixth-form student and a native Modern Greek speaker. Having lived and studied in Greece, I have a strong understanding of both the language and how it is naturally spoken in everyday life.
I also have experience working with younger students at school, which has helped me develop patience and clear communication skills, allowing me to engage patiently and effectively with learners.
I have a flexible timetable and am free almost every afternoon during weekdays.

I aim to make my lessons friendly and engaging, aimed at younger students and beginners. I focus on building a good understanding of the basics of speaking and writing Greek before moving on to more difficult topics, while giving students plenty of opportunities to practise using Greek themselves.
I hold a C1 Diploma and a Grade 9 GCSE in Modern Greek, and speak Greek as my native language.
Lessons will be online and can last either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the learner's age, level and requirements. I can adapt each lesson to what the student needs, whether that is improving their speaking, learning vocabulary and grammar, or simply becoming more confident with the language. I can help students aiming for a high grade in Greek GCSE or A1-B2 diplomas. Having lived in Greece, I can help students develop a more natural way of speaking Greek and become more confident using the language in everyday situations.
