About Hilda
I am a native Italian speaker with a strong passion for languages and helping others develop their confidence in Italian. Having grown up in Italy, I have a strong understanding of both everyday Italian communication and the academic skills needed for exams.
I am a patient, approachable and enthusiastic tutor who understands that every student learns differently. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes and improve their skills with confidence.

My approach to tutoring is focused on creating a friendly, supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident practising Italian. I adapt my lessons to each student’s goals, whether they want to improve their speaking skills, prepare for exams, learn grammar or develop their confidence in everyday conversations.
I use a mixture of conversation practice, vocabulary exercises, pronunciation guidance, grammar explanations and interactive activities to make lessons enjoyable and practical. I believe that learning a language is about building confidence, so I encourage students to speak as much as possible and learn through real-life examples.
