I am teaching all the way up to A-levels, or any other qualifications, however I am up for teaching Japanese for self-taught students as well. My teaching methods will involve either a sample conversation about a relevant topic, to improve on speaking and listening skills, or analyzing texts, and providing homework to write about a topic of passion, and going over that writing.
I am a native Japanese speaker, living in the UK for almost 12 years, since I left Japan at the age of 7. I have studied the language in a Japanese school, on top of my standard UK education (GCSE, A Level) and have a good grasp on the difficulties of learning a language. I am currently studying in Oxford University, and my interests are games (quite a few from Japan), manga, and cycling.
I have a lot of experience in translations, with some work involving translating for a research group from Osaka University and major welfare companies in the UK, and understand the subtle nuances between the languages. This is perhaps best reflected in my Japanese GCSE, in which I achieved full marks, with distinction in the coursework.
Current: Studying Computer Science at University of Oxford
