About Ayaka
I am a native Japanese speaker currently completing a Dual Master’s degree at King’s College London and Renmin University of China. I achieved a grade 7 in IB Japanese SL and have previous experience teaching English to students. Having studied and lived in several countries, I understand the challenges of learning another language and enjoy helping students become more confident through patient, supportive and personalised lessons.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, level and learning style. I can help complete beginners build a strong foundation in hiragana, grammar and everyday vocabulary, or support more advanced learners with conversation, pronunciation and natural expressions. As a native Japanese speaker who achieved a 7 in IB Japanese SL, I can also support IB students with reading, writing and exam preparation. Lessons are friendly, practical and focused on helping you use Japanese with confidence.
