Yoshi is amazing! I was nervous beforehand but felt immediately welcome and calm when we started our lesson. He is super friendly, patient, and professional all at once. Yoshi was a great tutor. He made personal slides based on my hobbies and interests. He was also patient with my mistakes and corrected them. He always made sure he understood what I tried to say and explained any nuances of the sentences if there were any. I would learn from him again.

I had my first lesson with Yoshi & it went beyond my expectations ! When it comes to the criteria part of the lessons, I appreciated that he was professional, organized, prepared, focused, & even tailored the lesson with some of my interests in it. This helped me stay engaged & motivated to remember what I was learning ! One thing that stood out for me, as a naturally anxious person, I was worried that I wasn’t going to be calm enough to focus or navigate through the whole lesson. But, Yoshi showed a great amount of patience & a professional way of refocusing back to the lesson that I greatly respected & appreciated! I would highly recommend him ! 10/10

Yoshi is an incredibly patient teacher and cares a lot about the comfortability of his students! We had a lesson together, and he was kind enough to prepare a personalized slideshow highlighting my areas of struggle. He also noted down anything I wasn't able to understand, and at the end we came back to review them which helped me learn those words better! His English proficiency is also great, which was really helpful for anything I couldn't explain/ask in Japanese. Overall, I learned a lot with just one lesson, and being able to practice speaking Japanese (with Yoshi to correct any mistakes) made me feel like I could definitely improve my fluency with more lessons!!
