About Hyunjin
As a native Korean speaker currently pursuing my degree at Australian University, I offer a unique, high-energy learning experience that bridges the gap between textbook Korean and the real world. My teaching methodology focuses on "Trend-First Immersion." I don't just teach grammar; I integrate the latest cultural shifts, viral K-content, and modern "Gen Z" slang that is currently shaping Seoul's social scene. This ensures my students aren't just speaking Korean—they are speaking it like a local.
My lessons are designed for all levels and typically run for 60 minutes, structured to be interactive and result-oriented. For beginners, I focus on building a bulletproof foundation of Hangul through visual aids. For intermediate and advanced learners, we dive into "Living Korean"—analyzing trending social media posts, K-dramas, or news topics to master natural intonation and sophisticated vocabulary. Having a deep, 100% native understanding of Korean society allows me to provide context that you won't find in standard curricula.
Whether you are a student looking for academic support, a professional needing business etiquette, or a K-culture enthusiast, my classes are tailored to your specific goals. I am a firm believer that the best way to learn a language is to fall in love with its culture. I bring a patient, professional, yet vibrant approach to every session, ensuring you feel confident and inspired to speak from day one. Let’s turn your interest in Korea into genuine fluency!

My teaching methodology is centered on "Natural Immersion & Practicality." I believe language is a tool for connection, not just a subject to memorize.
Active Conversation: I prioritize speaking from day one, using real-life scenarios (ordering food, K-drama expressions, or workplace etiquette).
Customized Curriculum: Since I teach all levels, I adapt my materials—using visual aids for beginners and deep-dive news articles or literature for advanced learners.
The "Feedback Loop": I provide real-time corrections and digital notes after every session so students can track their progress.
Lesson Structure & Duration
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I offer 90-minute intensive sessions upon request.
5 mins: Warm-up & review of the previous lesson.
10 mins: New concept introduction (grammar/vocabulary) through interactive activities.
10 mins: Applied practice (role-play, listening, or writing).
Qualifications & Experience
I am a native Korean speaker with a passion for sharing my language and culture in Australia.
Experience: I have [insert number, e.g., 2 years] of experience tutoring students of various backgrounds.
Expertise: I specialize in helping students overcome the "plateau" in their learning by focusing on natural intonation and modern slang that textbooks often miss.
Background: [Optional: mention your degree or any relevant certification if you have one].
Target Audience
My lessons are open to everyone. I teach:
Levels: Complete Beginners (Level 0) to Advanced/Fluent speakers.

Goals: Whether you want to pass the TOPIK exam, travel to Korea, or simply understand your favorite K-pop lyrics, I tailor the content to fit your goals.
