About Songa
I am a native Korean speaker with a degree in Korean History. This means I can teach Korean not only as a language, but also through its cultural and historical background. If you are interested in Korean history, culture, expressions, idioms, or the deeper meaning behind the language, I believe my lessons would be a great fit for you.
During my four years at university, I studied Korean culture and history in depth. This helps me explain how Korean was created, how the language system works, and why certain words or expressions are used in everyday life.
I aim to make Korean learning clear, meaningful, and enjoyable, while helping students build confidence step by step.

I believe Korean should be learned in an interesting, practical, and enjoyable way. My teaching approach focuses not only on memorising words and grammar, but also on understanding how Korean works as a language. Hangul is very systematic and logical, and I help students understand the structure behind it so they can learn more confidently.
In each class, we start with structured learning materials to build a clear foundation. Then, I use audio-visual resources such as Korean dramas, K-pop content, idol live streams, interviews, and real-life conversations to show how the expressions are used naturally in everyday Korean.
My lessons are usually 2 hours long, and I update my materials regularly depending on each student’s level, interests, and goals. I majored in Korean History and have 1 year of private Korean tutoring experience. My classes are suitable for beginners, advanced learners, Korean culture lovers, travellers, students, and professionals interested in Business Korean.
