About Anna-Theresa
I’m 19 and currently studying International Relations and Modern History at the University of St Andrews. I grew up between Frankfurt and Vienna, and always loved trying to understand the way the German language works and is structured. I also come from a family of five siblings, so I’m very used to being around different personalities and helping others.
I’ve had plenty of experience with private tutoring and genuinely enjoy working with students. During my own school years, tutors played an important role in helping me prepare for exams and reach my goals, which is why I want to give other students the same opportunity. I believe good tutoring should be affordable, supportive and enjoyable, while still helping students make real progress.
Outside of university and tutoring, I love playing sports and staying active.

German
German is my first language, and I achieved a 7/7 in IB German Language & Literature. I also speak English fluently, so I can explain things clearly and naturally in either language.
My lessons are structured but relaxed, with a clear plan for each session while keeping things engaging and interactive. Depending on your goals, we can focus on speaking, grammar, vocabulary, writing, pronunciation or exam preparation. I like to make lessons practical and tailored to each student, so you can see your progress while actually enjoying learning German either over a longer period, or even just short-term support. Whatever fits you best!
I offer online lessons for all levels, including GCSE, A-Level and IB German.
