About Hitomi
I'm currently a college undergrad who is very passionate about learning foreign languages. In high school, I founded a tutoring club at my Chinese school geared towards helping struggling non-native Chinese students, providing them with a community to practice their Chinese. Since then, I've tutored 20+ students on a one-on-one basis from grades K-12 in both English and Mandarin.

I'm fluent in Mandarin, since I speak it at home and have taken weekend classes for 8 consecutive years. I also took AP Chinese and received a 5. I am open to students of all ages and all levels of proficiency! Typically, my lessons are more flexible than most and are mainly structured around the student's interests.
