About Yuti
Hello! My name is Yuti, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney. I was born and raised in China, and Mandarin Chinese is my first language. I also achieved an A* in A-Level Chinese, which gave me strong academic knowledge of the language in addition to native fluency.
As both a native speaker and an international student, I understand the challenges of language learning and communication in a multicultural environment. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in Chinese through supportive, structured, and engaging lessons tailored to their individual goals.
I believe that learning a language should be practical, encouraging, and enjoyable. Whether students are learning Chinese for school, exams, travel, or personal interest, I always aim to create a comfortable learning environment where they feel motivated to improve and ask questions freely.
I am patient, responsible, and organized in my teaching approach, and I focus on helping students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills step by step. My experience studying in an international academic environment also allows me to communicate clearly with students from different backgrounds and learning levels.
I look forward to helping students develop both confidence and genuine interest in learning Chinese.

Hi! My name is Yuti, and I am a native Mandarin speaker born and raised in China. I achieved an A* in A-Level Chinese and am currently studying in Sydney.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalised to each student’s learning goals and level. I believe language learning should be interactive and enjoyable, so I focus on helping students improve their speaking confidence, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and real-life communication skills step by step.
For younger students, I use simple explanations, conversation practice, reading exercises, and engaging activities to make lessons fun and effective. For students preparing for school exams or A-Level Chinese, I can also help with reading comprehension, writing, speaking practice, and exam techniques.
Lessons are usually 60 to 90 minutes long depending on the student’s needs and concentration level. I offer both online lessons and in-person lessons in Sydney.
My lessons are suitable for:
* Beginners learning Mandarin
* Primary and high school students
* A-Level Chinese students
* Anyone interested in improving conversational Chinese or pronunciation
As someone who grew up speaking Mandarin and studied Chinese at an academic level, I understand both natural communication and exam-focused learning. I always aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making progress.
