Hello, I’m Jianmei, a native Mandarin speaker, qualified teacher and PhD researcher at the University of Galway, with six years of teaching experience in China.
My lessons are practical, structured and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on pronunciation, tones, everyday conversation, useful vocabulary and clear sentence patterns through speaking practice, repetition, games and role-play.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are suitable for children, teenagers and adults at beginner or intermediate level. I provide a patient and supportive environment to help students build confidence in speaking Chinese.
