About Laury
I am a patient and warm native French speaker from Paris. I have a master’s degree in communication, and I am passionate about sharing my love for the beauty and nuances of the French language.
I adapt my teaching style to the student, and I welcome all levels of learner. I am happy to structure lessons following the curriculum for various exam boards at IB/GCSE/A-Level. I also offer refresher courses for people that may be a little rusty, and short courses for travellers hoping to holiday in French speaking countries. Alternatively, I’m happy just to chat in French if you would prefer a more immersive experience - whatever age and whichever level you may be.
I try to find imaginative and visual ways of teaching, finding relevant material in subject you find engaging - from children aged 3 with a passion for giraffes, GCSE students with a love for K-pop to retired cheese enthusiasts. From my experience as an English learner I understand the complexities involved in learning a new language and I am determined to make your experience as easy, rewarding and enriching as possible.
