About Irina
Hello! My name is Irina, and I'm a native Russian speaker from Russia, qualified in teaching Russian Language and Literature, Russian as a Foreign Language and Russian Culture.
Teaching is more than my profession—it's part of my family's heritage. I come from a dynasty of teachers, with several generations of educators in my family, and I have been teaching since 2013.
I believe that every grammar rule has a logical explanation. Instead of asking students to memorize endless exceptions, I help them understand why Russian works the way it does. My students often say that grammar becomes much easier once they see the patterns behind it.
Having lived and worked in India for many years, I enjoy connecting Russian with Indian languages and culture whenever possible. These comparisons make learning more intuitive, memorable, and fun, especially for Indian learners.
