About Masha
I am a native Russian speaker from Moscow. I have been working with languages since 2007. I hold a BA in theoretical and applied linguistics (Moscow State University) and an MA cum laude in computational linguistics (Higher School of Economics). Currently I am a PhD student in linguistics.
During my studies, I conducted numerous research projects on Russian, English, French and Russian Sign Language. I have an extensive experience in academic Russian, written (I published 23 academic papers) as well as spoken (I gave more than 30 talks at various linguistic conferences). Since 2012, I have been working as a freelance Russian-English and English-Russian interpreter, an editor of Russian texts and a private tutor (Russian, English, French).

I practice an individual approach in tutoring: the teaching program depends on individual needs of each student. I am able to teach at all levels from beginners to advanced, and to all ages from children (my youngest student was three years old) to adult learners. My students practice the main four language skills - reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Teaching materials I provide are diverse and not limited to student books; they also include videos, songs in Russian, poetry, literature, and even computer games. Lessons are highly interactive and engaging. My goal is to create a productive, but at the same time entertaining learning experience for students.
