About Jamilya
I’m Jamilya, currently a 3rd-year student and a true language enthusiast! I speak 4 languages fluently, and I’m already learning my 5th. For me, languages aren’t just words—they’re a way to step into another world. I especially love literature, and nothing feels more magical than reading a book in its original language. That’s what inspires me to keep learning and sharing my knowledge. I’m also very extraverted and love to talk—so expect our lessons to be interactive, fun, and full of real conversation.

Hi, I’m Jamilya. I grew up bilingual, and Russian has always been my native language. I’ve been teaching for 3 years now, and I love showing students that Russian isn’t just grammar tables—it’s also funny memes, real conversations, and even beautiful literature. What you can expect from my lessons: * Lots of practice speaking (I’ll get you talking from day one!) * Grammar explained simply and clearly * Cultural insights, local phrases & even inside jokes Russians actually use * A bit of Dostoevsky and Pushkin if you’re curious Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I’m flexible if you need shorter or longer sessions. I work with all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced learners who want to polish their fluency. My style? Super friendly and patient. I’ll adapt everything to your goals, so whether you want to travel, talk to family, or just fall in love with the language, I’ll help you get there.
