About Isabella
I am a Russophone since I was able to speak. For some reason, inheriting two languages was not enough, and I acquired Spanish and French, as well as attempting German, Latin, Romanian, and Scottish Gaelic. It was no wonder, then, that I proceeded to study French and Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh.

I have to admit, I have never tried teaching Russian before now, but I have a fairly long history of helping my friends and younger siblings practise speaking and corrected their pronunciation. I have some experience helping GCSE students with preparing for their oral exams. On the whole, my philosophy is that conversations should arise and flow naturally for both the teacher and the student, however, if the student is preparing for an exam, then it is also important that all aspects of the structure and requirements of such are covered. I have a lot of experience preparing students for A Level and GCSE in French and Spanish, and for them to achieve excellent results. I feel the approach that I have with these subjects is transferable.
