My teaching method is to focus on the development of conversational skills; instead of learning random words, I begin with basic conversational phrases in order to faciliate conversations with other Spanish-speaking friends and so that whenever we continue a tutoring session we can practice speaking in Spanish as much as possible. I then would teach words and phrases depending on topics and themes that would be beneficial to the interests of the student, further encouraging them to engage with the language. After crossing those stages, begining to reach an ease with basics of the language, we would explore themes and topics that might not be relevant now, but are vital in order to embark on the path to being fluent.
Spanish is my first language, but I'm bilingual thanks to being raised in International schools. I have tutored and babysat whilst in high school, and have 11 Spanish cousins (all children) so I have a lot of experience with young children and making sure they're productive as well as entertained and engaged with the tutored material.
Perfect! Good communicator, friendly and supportive. The lessons are providing me with what I need, practice at speaking and listening to Spanish.
Very good control of the language, needs practice to become more fluid un conversation and needs to work on their hearing/understanding abilities. Overall a great lesson, very friendly. :)
