About Rodrigo
Hi! My name is Rodrigo, and I’m 24 years old, originally from Bolivia. I graduated from the University of Oregon’s Clark Honors College with a B.A. in Humanities with 3.99 GPA. During my undergraduate years, I was also a college soccer player for three years.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Hispanic Studies and Literatures at Boston College, where I also teach Spanish at the undergraduate level. Beyond the classroom, I have worked as a youth soccer coach, an experience that has strengthened my passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others grow.
Outside of academics, I love playing soccer, reading, and spending quality time with my girlfriend, family, and friends.

As a native Spanish speaker and Spanish instructor at Boston College, I offer personalized, interactive lessons tailored to each student's level, interests, and goals. My teaching approach combines conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural exploration, with an emphasis on building confidence and practical communication skills.
What sets me apart is my university-level teaching experience, academic background in Hispanic literature, and fluency in Spanish, English, and French. I welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, whether they want to improve their conversational Spanish, prepare for exams, or explore Hispanic cultures and literature.
