About Lehidy Carolina
I am a 33-year-old political scientist with a postgraduate degree in rural development. For the past ten years, I have worked in governmental and academic settings in Colombia, including for example the Colombian Truth Commission, the National Centre for Historical Memory, the Pontifical Xaverian University, and the University of the Rosary. I have recently moved to the UK, and I want to use my Spanish native skills to help people who are interested in learning my beautiful language! Having worked in academic and governmental settings, I am able to help with conversational, professional, and academic Spanish skills.

My name is Carolina and I am a Colombian national who has recently moved to the UK. I seek to help learners of Spanish to improve their language skills through: - thematic conversations; - targeted writing exercises; - guided readings; - Listening games. I don't hold any formal teaching qualification, but as a native Spanish speaker, for the past ten years, I have worked in governmental and academic settings in Colombia. I have published in Spanish-speaking academic journals and I have authored several official documents. In Colombia, I have tutored international students who have visited my beautiful city, Popayán! While my classes are suited to basic, intermediate, and advanced learners of Spanish of all ages, I welcome in particular university students as well as mature learners. I am also currently learning, so my classes are all in Spanish, which means you should prepare for a full immersion! :-)
