About Irene
I was born in Spain and did there most of my education. I moved to the UK to pursue higher education and I am currently doing a PhD in Mathematics. I speak Spanish, English, and French, being the first too the ones I use the most. I can understand Italian and Portuguese. I started my learning journey with German and Japanese, but does projects are on pause for now do to work. I love learning new languages to communicate with all kinds of different people.

Spanish
For those who are starting, I would teach in English and will start with the basics. You have to understand that the Spanish language may have different phonemes than your language. If you are more advanced and feel comfortable with the idea, I can do the full class in Spanish. The main idea is to teach you through real-life problems. Choosing topics that the student is interested in and working on whichever area the student struggles with the most. For most people that is the speaking part, so I will promote engaging conversations for the student to practice. If you want to do work outside teaching hours that is fine but not compulsory and we can go through it in the lesson.
