About Marina

Hi! I'm Marina, and I come from Alicante (Spain), currently living in Cornwall, where I'm studying for a Master's degree at the University of Exeter.

I've always loved languages, travelling and meeting people from different backgrounds. I've had the opportunity to live and study in Spain, Sweden and the UK, which has taught me just how exciting (and sometimes intimidating) communicating in another language can be.

I'm a friendly, enthusiastic and patient person, and I genuinely enjoy helping others learn. Having spent over five years working as a private tutor, I know how important it is to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable being themselves.

I'd love to help you discover not just the Spanish language, but also a little bit of its culture along the way!

About the lesson

My lessons are all about helping you feel confident and comfortable speaking Spanish!

As a native Spanish speaker with over five years of experience as a private tutor, I understand that everyone learns differently. That's why I adapt my lessons to each student's level, interests and personal goals.

My online lessons focus on real-life conversations, helping you improve your fluency, pronunciation and vocabulary in a relaxed and encouraging environment. We can discuss anything from everyday situations to current events, travel, culture or topics you're particularly interested in!

I welcome students of all levels, whether you're just starting to learn Spanish or already speak it and want to become more fluent. And with a Cambridge C2 qualification in English, I can always explain things in English whenever needed.

Most importantly, don't be afraid to make mistakes. That's how we learn!
