About Janet

I am a native Spanish speaker with experience teaching conversational Spanish to people of different levels and ages. My background in design and communication has allowed me to develop a clear, practical, and human approach to teaching, where each student feels supported and confident when learning a new language. I am known for my ability to explain things simply, adapt to each student's learning pace, and create an environment where students feel listened to, motivated, and capable. My priority is for you to progress with confidence and enjoy each session. As a professional, I take care of every detail of my classes: from preparing the content to the conversational methodology I use to ensure fast and concrete results. If you are looking for a serious, friendly, and dedicated teacher who will help you speak Spanish naturally from day one, it will be my pleasure to accompany you in this process.

About the lesson

My methodology is entirely conversational, practical, and focused on the real-world use of the language. In each class, I encourage students to speak Spanish from the very first minute, without pressure and without unnecessary theory. I use:

Real-life everyday situations

Guided dialogues

Short listening and pronunciation exercises

Natural expressions used by native speakers

Gentle corrections that don't interrupt fluency

Activities tailored to the student's interests and goals

I work with a progressive approach: first we build confidence; then speed, vocabulary, and clarity; and finally, naturalness when speaking.

A typical 1-hour class plan

Each session follows a clear and dynamic structure:

Conversational warm-up
Simple questions to activate the language and reduce nerves.

Topic of the day
We choose a practical topic: travel, work, restaurants, family, phone calls, etc.

Guided dialogue + useful vocabulary
We practice real expressions and everyday situations with visual support.

Free conversation
The student speaks freely; I gently correct pronunciation, structures, or words.

Mini feedback and challenges for the next class
Review of progress and a quick proposal for further improvement.

What sets me apart as a tutor
I am a native Spanish speaker, which guarantees authentic and natural Spanish.

My classes are 100% conversational, focused on speaking from day one.

I explain things in a simple, clear way without technical jargon, ideal for beginners.

I offer a relaxed, motivating, and non-judgmental environment where students feel supported.

My classes are dynamic, practical, and personalized, adapted to each individual's pace and goals.

Who are the classes aimed at?
My classes are specially designed for:

People who want to speak Spanish quickly and practically.

Absolute beginners who want to learn from scratch.

Students who know a little Spanish but need to loosen up and improve their fluency.

Adults who need Spanish for travel, work, or communicating with native speakers

People who want to improve their pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence when speaking

Shy or nervous students, as my method is warm and provides constant support
