About Maria
Hi! My name is Maria. I come from a full Colombian family, so Spanish is my native language. I’ve always had a love for languages. I'm bilingual in Spanish and English, and I’ve been speaking both fluently since I was 7 years old. I’m also currently in my fourth year learning French. As a high school junior, I understand how students around my age learn best. I believe the most effective way to improve in a language is by practicing it in real-life situations and being exposed to it daily, not just memorizing grammar rules that are easy to forget. My lessons are built to help you use Spanish confidently, whether you’re just starting or want to improve. Since I’m a native speaker, I can help you train your ear to understand how Spanish is actually spoken and guide you through real conversations, without any pressure or shame. I focus on teaching you Spanish in a way that’s actually useful and relevant to real conversations, not just classroom theory. My lessons are designed to make Spanish practical, natural, and something you can actually speak without fear.
