Maria is a super teacher. She puts alot of work into our classes and is always really helpful and patient when teaching. Really relevent class topic and methods of learning. My level of spainish has improved so much since taking her class and would highly recommend her as a teacher.

Her teaching style is great because, as well as teaching you the fundamentals, she helps you learn the flow of conversation that you can use in real life. Maria is one of the best Spanish teachers I've ever hard. We've worked together before and after I did a Spanish immersion program and she really has supported my growth in learning a language. She encourages you to use your available vocabulary in real conversations, with lots of corrections and context, and focuses on what you want to learn. She uses many tools to teach (songs, videos, texts, games, etc) and makes herself available for your schedule. You can tell that teaching is one of her callings because she's so wonderful at it.

Hi, I'm Paul from Dublin. I have been having classes with Maria for 2 and a half years, for 3 hours per week. I have gone from zero Spanish to reading, writing, and speaking. I am not claiming to be fluent, but I can hold my own with other Spanish speakers. Maria is a great teacher who works at the student's pace. I'm from the US living in CDMX, stuck in that A2/B1 limbo where I can order food and follow broad conversations, but lose the thread the moment things get idiomatic or fast.

Maria understood that gap immediately and worked right at the edge of it. She teaches Mexican Spanish, not just textbook Spanish, which matters enormously when you're actually living here! Our sessions felt like real conversations with structure underneath them. Would absolutely recommend her if you are looking to get solid instruction with a friendly vibe!
