I did some basic Spanish classes as a kid in high-school and always regretted never taking it further and learning while my brain was young and fit. But she's been amazing as a tutor helping me relearn and develop my Spanish language skills as an adult. She's patient, and extremely kind when teaching. She takes great care at adapting to the level you are at and noticing details, and is able to happily adapt or strip right back to basics to help work out issues with understanding grammar, plural, prepositions, language technicalities, pronunciation etc, to ensure that a good foundation is established first. This allowed me greater confidence to begin building my own senetances and language structures more freely. She's available and willing; walked with me through each step. Her style was immersive and thorough which really helped- stale textbook learning has always been a struggle for me. Far from stale, Carlota adapts to your pace and her conversational style allows practice and feedback in real time! Her understanding of multiple languages is a real asset and because her English is great too it's easy to understand her and switch between languages. Highly recommend!

Carlota has been a regular babysitter for us the past few months for our one year old. She has been caring and dedicated and created fun experiences for our little one.
