About David
Hola! I am David Fabra, also called Señor Fabra when I teach in schools, which I love doing. When I finish my teaching degree, I decided to leave my hometown Logroño (in the region of Rioja, in the north of Spain) and go to England, where I have stayed since. My plan was to come for “a few months” to learn English in order to teach it properly in Spain, but life gives lots of turns. 15 years after I am still in England, Nottingham, with two beautiful children and teaching Spanish in nurseries, primary schools and one to one classes for GCSE students and adults.

Since I started teaching Spanish full time in 2015, I taught nurseries, I have done school clubs, taught employed by the schools, through agencies, one to one classes at the students houses and in pubs, individuals and group lessons, Gcse lessons… I think I’ve covered all sorts. The aim of teaching Spanish to me is to make possible to others to communicate in that language with native speakers, so I do like talking with my students a lot and creating scenarios where they could use those conversations.
