About Maria
I'm from Santiago, Chile. I studied Neuroscience at Dartmouth College in the US, with a focus on education and social sciences. I have taught Spanish for many years in both traditional and special Ed settings. I am patient and enthusiastic, and I'm here to make you fall in love with the languages that I am fluent in!

My goal is for you to gain confidence when speaking Spanish and to prepare you for any situation! I'll first ask questions and speak to you to understand your level and ideal outcomes. We will then set objectives together and align on a cadence that works for your schedule. Sometimes we will do lessons, others we will speak for a while so that you practice what you've learned and identify areas where you'd like further support. I will also offer optional reading, videos, TV shows, etc so that you keep practicing on your free time. The idea is to work together so that you feel at ease when speaking in Spanish!
