About Meena Priyanka
I am Meena Priyanka SV, a native Tamil speaker from India with over 12 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students from different age groups and educational backgrounds, helping them develop their language skills with confidence.
My teaching experience includes school students following different curricula, as well as learners preparing for Cambridge IGCSE/O Level Tamil and Tamil Nadu State Board examinations.
I enjoy creating a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and learning at their own pace.
I am passionate about making Tamil accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for every learner.

My Tamil classes are personalized to each student's level, learning needs and purpose. I do not follow the same method for everyone. I first understand what the learner already knows and what they would like to achieve, and then adapt my teaching style, materials and activities accordingly.
A typical class includes a short revision of previous learning, introduction of a new concept or skill, guided practice and opportunities to apply what has been learnt through conversation, reading, writing or practical activities. I use examples, customized worksheets, practice exercises and regular revision to make lessons clear and engaging.
I teach school children, teenagers, college students and adults, including beginners and heritage learners. I also support students following the Tamil Nadu school syllabus and those preparing for Cambridge IGCSE/O Level Tamil examinations.
My focus is on making Tamil easy to understand, enjoyable to learn and practical to use, while helping each student develop confidence in their own way.
