Natural Sciences graduate offering Maths, Biology and Chemistry Lessons up to university level.
Methodology
I believe clarity, regular communication and patience are key for developing and succeeding in a subject. For work towards qualifications such as GCSEs and A Levels, I ensure my pupils have a solid understanding of every point in the exam board specifications so they can approach their exams and all questions therein with confidence. My lesson plans tend to be student directed, so if there is an area in which they feel particular work is needed, we will work through that. I use a mixture of self-made, online and past paper resources according to the students needs.
Experience
I am a friendly, Natural Sciences graduate of the University of Nottingham (1st class (Hons)). Over the past two years I have privately tutored seven 15-18 year olds in maths, biology and chemistry. 100% of my past pupils have achieved As or A*s in all the respective GCSEs and A Levels I have helped on, and over half have improved by more than one grade during our time working together.

2016 - 2020: MSc Natural Sciences at the University of Nottingham
Graduated with a 1st Class (Hons)
Majored in biology taking a broad range of modules in neuroscience, cancer biology, cellular biology, genetics, animal behaviour, biological laboratory skills and tropical biology, as well as reading modules in ecology and conservation. I also studied chemistry in 1st year, as well as a broad range of pure and applied mathematics throughout my degree, including in mathematical medicine and biology, mathematical physics and several differential equations modules.
I conducted an 80 credit 4th year research project into the selectivity of philanthotoxin analogues at human and locust nAChRs. I was also involved in a 20 credit meta-analysis on research into chameleon colour change through chromatophores working in conjunction with a lattice of guanine nanocrystals.
