About Melynda
I am an Australian now residing in the UK, however, back in Australia I taught high school English, covering a range of age levels and abilities (including SEP). I was also involved in marking the NAPLAN standardised testing that was conducted Australia-wide. I have experience with individual and small-class (up to 15 students) tutoring in Literacy and English, teaching SEP (up to 12 students) as well as mainstream classes of up to 30 students in English.
I have a very good success rate with my students, with the majority earning a minimum of a C+, although with some of the students with greater abilities earning a B+ or higher.

I am an Australian (currently non-teaching) teacher of high school English. I generally begin each lesson with an overview of the previous lesson, to highlight any issues that may need readdressing. I then build on that knowledge, before issuing any further tasks to be completed individually.
I am approachable, have a passion for English, and can be infinitely patient with those who struggle with certain tasks or aspects required in this subject.
