About Dana
Hi! My name is Dana.
I have an Economics BSc and a Master's in Psychology, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroeconomics: an exciting interdisciplinary field about decision making.
I am experienced in teaching with several years as a university lecturer and Teaching Assistant. I am familiar with teaching both at group and individual levels.
My favourite area of teaching is introductory economics, where I can give you a strong foundation breaking the complex into its simplest components. However, I do love a challenge and am open to teaching anything else I've personally approached such as econometrics and behavioural economics.
I look forward to meeting you to hear about your individual needs and see if we make a good tutor-student match! :)

Classes are pre-prepared based on your needs. Lessons will be balanced between reaffirming economics concepts, mathematical and/or programming groundwork, and real-life applications in the area of the taught topic.
E.g. A hypothetical lesson on price elasticities:
Section 1: What are price elasticities and what concepts of your everyday life do you already know which could be used to explain them? Examples based on your specific hobbies.
Section 2: Practising the use of different elasticity formulas. What formula es best for every occasion?
Section 3: Real-life examples of people who profited millions out of the correct use of price elasticities. Do budget airlines ring a bell?
