About Ethan
Having been in the music world for about 15+ years of my life, I realized that the one thing that separates a good musician from a great musician is passion and a willingness to give it their all. Through my teachings, I would like to inspire this passion and balance the importance of technique with musicality.

I will cater to your needs and goals as a musician, whether that is working on music theory, technique, musicality, or sight reading. I will apply teaching techniques learned from being around the best and innovate exercises tailored specifically for your individual technical needs (whether that is for posture, bow arm, or left hand). Most importantly, I aim to inspire and strike inspiration in my students so that they can actually enjoy the music that they make. A typical 1 hour lesson plan would consist of going over scales and arpeggios for roughly 15 min, etudes and other technical exercises for another 15-20, and repertoire (pieces) for the rest of the time remaining. I teach all levels of musicians, and my lesson plans are flexible to the student’s needs and progress.
