These lessons are for people new to Robert's Rules of Order (Newly Revised) or those looking to improve their confidence using them.
Using Robert's Rules of Order (newly revised), learn:
- how main motions are introduced, considered, amended, adopted, defeated, or postponed definitely or indefinitely
- how to move a motion through several amendment processes,
- how to get your meeting back on focus using Rules of Order,
- how to raise a motion of Order or Privilege,
- what the rules are around limiting or extending debate.
I will walk you through scenarios and discuss with you the options available in each. Group (Board/Council/Committee) training is available with role-playing to ensure understanding.
