About Ronald
I like taking something that seems complicated and making it easier to understand.
I developed Mix Logic after spending a lot of time studying how Serato works and finding a simpler way to explain what new DJs are seeing on the screen.
I’m patient, straightforward, and I don’t believe in overwhelming someone with information just to sound knowledgeable. If you’re new, you should be able to ask basic questions without feeling like you’re supposed to already know the answers.
My approach is simple: understand what you’re doing, understand why you’re doing it, and then put it to use.
If something doesn’t make sense, we slow it down, look at it differently, and get it to make sense before moving on.

You have the controller. You have Serato. You have your music. Now let’s get you mixing.
You’ll learn how to get your tracks working together so you can beatmatch, create smooth transitions, record seamless mixes, make mixes for social media, put together a party mix, or prepare your wedding sets.
You’ll learn what those red and white lines across your tracks actually do and why they matter. You’ll understand how Serato uses the beat grid and why having it positioned correctly matters when using Sync, loops, Slip Roll, Instant Doubles and other grid-based features.
My method starts with Beat Count 1 — the first beat of the bar. You’ll learn where it belongs, how the grid follows it, and how to recognize when your bar markers are drifting in front of or behind Beat Count 1.
You don’t have to learn everything about DJing before you can start mixing. Learn how your tracks work, get them ready, and start mixing your own music.
Before we get started, you’ll take a short prerequisite to make sure this method fits what you want to accomplish.
