About Sayidah Rufiqah
Hi! I’m a passionate and patient new tutor who enjoys helping children learn and grow in confidence.
I achieved A+ in SPM Mathematics and A in Additional Mathematics, and I’m excited to share my knowledge with younger students.
I also completed an internship at SI World, where I assisted with activities and therapy for children with special needs. This experience taught me to be patient, attentive, and understanding when working with children.
Before SPM, I also led peer tutoring and study sessions for my classmates. I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, learn from their mistakes, and improve at their own pace.

I aim to make Mathematics simple, enjoyable, and less intimidating for young learners. As every student learns differently, I will adapt my teaching approach to their pace, strengths, and areas for improvement.
My lessons may include clear explanations, step-by-step examples, practice questions, interactive activities, and short exercises to help students truly understand concepts instead of simply memorising formulas. I also encourage students to ask questions and learn from their mistakes in a patient and supportive environment.
Lessons are typically 1 to 1.5 hours, with flexibility depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I welcome Year 1–6 students (ages 7–12).
Although I am a new tutor without formal tutoring experience, I achieved A+ in SPM Mathematics and A in SPM Additional Mathematics. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students become more confident in Mathematics.
