About Dan
I am a long-term drummer who has been playing for about 14 years (it's hard to remember how long at this point). I have always enjoyed educating others and genuinely believe that one of the best ways to perfect your own skills is through teaching and that is why it is such a valuable experience for both student and teacher alike. Above all, I enjoy helping and seeing students succeed and that is why I do this, for I want to be able to go and see a student's performance or hear their recordings and know that in some way I was able to help them achieve that feat.

I believe that each student is different and therefore my approach to each should too be different. Whether that be going through the rockschool or trinity graded systems, or focusing on composition and live performance, each method is valid and relevant just depending on the student's wants and requirements.
As both a university-educated and currently live gigging musician, I am perfectly suited to providing advice and lessons on both the formal education and life experiences of the musical world.
My lessons tend to be done in hour increments and will feature anything from rudiment work and technique honing to song practice and composition.
I tutor any age group and ability and am flexible on where and how the lessons take place.
