About Sarah
I am a friendly and patient Ngee Ann Polytechnic student who is passionate about helping primary school students improve their English with confidence. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and needs. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn step by step.
In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking. I use clear explanations, simple examples, and guided practice to help students understand concepts well instead of just memorizing. I also aim to make lessons engaging and supportive so that students can enjoy learning while improving their skills.
A typical lesson lasts around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s level and attention span. I can help with schoolwork, English revision, comprehension practice, grammar correction, sentence construction, and writing improvement. I can also support students who need extra practice before tests or want to strengthen their confidence in English.
As a current student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, I may be a beginner tutor, but I am responsible, approachable, and committed to helping younger learners grow. My lessons are best suited for primary school students, especially those who need extra support or want to build a stronger foundation in English.
