About Isabelle
I’m a Sixth Form student currently studying Further Maths and Physics, and I already have an A* in A-Level Maths. I also got straight Grade 9s in my GCSEs. I think I can be a very good tutor because I approach problems using step-by-step methodical thinking over difficult intuitive thinking. And I’m passionate about understanding the basics of mathematical concepts which translates aptly into teaching maths to others. PLEASE NOTE: I only offer face-to-face tutoring within walking distance (maximum 2 km / 20-minute walk) from my location. I cannot travel by car or public transport.

I offer 1-hour face-to-face sessions for GCSE Maths and Physics. I keep things completely paper-based using notebooks and past papers, so I don't do any online or webcam lessons. We will just focus on whatever topic the student found difficult at school that week and work through it together. I will first explain the basics of the topic to ensure the student’s fundamental understanding which is key to then being able to answer various exam questions which we will then move onto. If the student doesn’t understand one way of thinking, we can explore which ways make most sense to them.
