I've been playing tennis as long as I can remember, tennis is massive part of who I am!
I really like the social element of coaching and find it rewarding watching students reaching their goals.
I am a part time coach and am not available during 10-4 on the working week

I like to start my lessons by understanding what your specific goals are so I can tailor my coaching to help get you there.
I firmly believe in coaching using visual demonstrations instead of just telling. I like to keep it simple focusing on key elements as opposed to bouncing between topics.
I'm an LTA licensed coach experienced at coaching a range of ages from under 10 up to performance. From technical skills to the mental side of the game.
I'm very passionate about the game and I believe that comes through in my coaching. Previously completed a national level and still enjoy representing my club at national league level.

Perfect! As a beginning player looking up to improve tennis skills and be able to play a game, my boyfriend and I started lessons with Fin. Fin was very patient and provided a lot of help and instructions during the lesson. He also helped me build up confidence. After two lessons, great improvements can be seen already.
We really enjoyed the class, and are looking forward to the rest of the lessons. Couldn't recommend him enough!- Good lesson, would recommendFinlay's response :
Perfect! Fin is an excellent instructor for all levels. He has been able to teach a group of 4-6 each week with varying skill levels all while still making sure we’re having a good time! It’s been 2 months now and each of us has improved tremendously!

Highly recommend !Perfect! Finlay has a real skill in observing exactly what your mistakes are, even if you don't know, and drills you on the basics. I really like his focus on developing proper form and technique. Finlay sees it from the moment you do it, and directs you on the path to getting it right. I had some real "light bulb" moments within my first two lessons including basic control, foot work, my back hand, and service.
I cannot recommend Finlay highly enough. He is warm, charismatic and someone who really can open the door for your tennis to improve.Perfect! I just started to take tennis lessons again and, being a beginner, I'm so glad that I found Finlay. He's a great coach, who really takes the time to explain and help me get the basics right. He's very patient and lovely to play with. I definitely recommend his classes.
