About Heather

Hi, I'm Heather! I grew up learning the violin but instead found a deeper love for the viola and have been playing ever since, almost 20 years in total now. I have a degree in Music Education (Kindergarten through Grade 12) from the US and moved to the UK in 2020 to obtain a Masters in Education Studies. I believe that everyone has something artistic and creative within them, have it be creative writing, dance, music, or other. I want to aid students in exploring that bit of themselves within the world of music.

About the lesson

Unlock the joy of music with personalised violin, viola, and piano lessons from an experienced and certified music educator! Originally from the US and now based in the UK, I bring a wealth of international teaching experience to my students. My lessons are designed to foster growth, confidence, and a deep love for music. Having taught in diverse educational environments, I am equipped to adapt my teaching methods to suit a wide range of needs and preferences. Join me for engaging, supportive, and fun sessions that will help you master your instrument and achieve your musical goals. Let's make beautiful music together!

Heather has been teaching my daughter ukelele and guitar for over two years now. She is a fantastic tutor. She always explains things clearly to Eva and has enabled her to grow in to a confident musician. She is encouraging, positive and extremely knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her as a music tutor!
