I will go through the problems. First allow student to try and solve the problems themselves. Then I will prompt student with some hints to allow them to think for themselves first and not just spoon-feed the answers. Finally, I will teach them the correct method to think and answer the questions. Lastly, I will get student to reflect on the whole process and look back at the big picture on what they learned from solving the problem.
I plan to go through with the student the current syllabus they are going through. Guide them through the textbooks/workbooks. If students are good, I will supplement their learning by teaching some university level physics as well.
