About Kimberly
I’m a registered nurse and nursing professor with an MSN in Nursing Education, 15 years of clinical nursing experience, and five years of full-time nursing education experience. My clinical background includes emergency nursing, medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing, mental health, and substance use care.
As a nursing professor, I understand that students often know more than their exam grades reflect. Sometimes the challenge is connecting concepts, applying knowledge to clinical scenarios, or learning how to approach nursing-style questions.
I enjoy helping students find the point where the material finally “clicks.” My teaching style is supportive, practical, and straightforward. I’ll meet you where you are, identify what’s getting in your way, and help you build both your knowledge and your confidence as a future nurse.

As an experienced nursing professor I tailor each session to the individual student and how they learn best.
Nursing school requires more than memorizing information, it requires learning how to think like a nurse.
My tutoring sessions focus on helping you understand difficult concepts, strengthen clinical reasoning, and approach exam questions with confidence.
I can help with pharmacology, fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, dosage calculations, health assessment, prioritization, clinical reasoning, and NCLEX-style questions.
We can review course content, work through practice questions together, identify why you’re missing questions, or focus on a specific area where you’re struggling.
My goal isn’t just to help you get through your next exam, it’s to help you understand the material and develop strategies you can use throughout nursing school and on the NCLEX.
